The NACEA 6th Entrepreneur Seminar was successfully held in NJIT's bright new GITC building. Over 65 people showed up in spite of the summer vacation season and a dozen joined the NACEA as formal members on the spot.

Seminar Five: Courting the Angels and VCs

The fifth NACEA Entrepreneur Seminar was an overwhelmingly GREAT success as people completely filled the large AvTech conference room to listen to our three speakers: Jonas Wang, Ph.D., Partner, Sycamore Venture; John Ason, Angel Investor; and Stephen Furnari, Partner, Furnari Levine LLP.

John Follis, and Lowell Feuer, two highly experienced and successful entrepreneurs, shared their combined 40 years of experience in marketing and their US and international experience, including China. They were joined in a panel discussion by YC Chien and Douglas Deboer.

Seminar Two: Business Law and Legal Issues for Startup Companies

The second public seminar featured business lawyers Michael Huey and Zhiyu Hu who discussed with us the various legal issues regarding business set-up. In addition, Mr. Junfei Sheng, Chairman and CEO of China Star Group, reviewed the current economic situation in China
